Hello, my name is Petrina, and I’m from a great big Irish family of 5 sisters and 1 brother. We are all very creative in one way or another and enjoy the country lifestyle.
My life’s journey started in Ireland. where I was a fashion designer for many years. I decided to take a break and studied interior design after graduating with distinction, I started renovating houses for resale I enjoyed every minute of it.
Peter’s job took us to the USA where we lived in Washington DC. A beautiful community in Gaithersburg called Kentlands is where we lived, We were fortunate to have made great friends and have wonderful memories. This is where my crafting took over. I started to upcycle costume jewellery, made a mess paint pouring, and those messes turned out beautiful resin works. Can you believe watching paint dry is fun !!
At the moment I am living in gorgeous Canada with my charming husband, Peter. Over the years we have lived in the UK and the USA. We relocated to Toronto, Ontario for Peter’s job again last autumn 2019. I was struck by the breathtaking scenery and the most magnificent changing colours of the tree foliage from green to orange to fire red.
I felt a strong connection to my new surroundings and my passion for painting was born. I soon learned that I had the magic of colour, imagination in my heart and soul to paint.
I would be so proud to make someone smile each time they look at a painting hanging on their wall.
